According to industry sources, the next Assassin’s Creed will take place in a vastly different environment.

Description:Perhaps the next Assassin’s Creed game’s location has been disclosed, and it’s someplace longtime fans have longed to go.

Brief news:

Modern Assassin’s Creed protagonists have used the Animus to travel back in time to interesting eras like Ancient Egypt and Victorian London. The 15-year-old series naturally has many more significant time periods to cover.

ACG, the same Twitter user who leaked Far Cry Primal, claims the next Assassin’s Creed game will focus on the Aztecs.

Really, I can’t believe Assassin’s Creed hasn’t included this until now since it’s brilliant.

The Aztecs were a historical people that lived in central Mexico throughout the 1400s to 1600s.

According to historical accounts, the ancient Maya were the first people to institute mandatory schooling for all citizens, making them technologically and mathematically superior to contemporary societies. This is a fun fact for you.

Considering the Assassin’s Creed series’ interpretation of the ancient Gods as being extremely evolved lifeforms from beyond the stars named Isu, the temples (or Teocalli) would make for some intriguing sites to visit in-game.

This may seem awesome, but you should treat it with caution for the time being. Particularly given the fact that this contradicts the prevailing thinking.
